This website is operated by Max Sharlaev. I take privacy seriously and aim to collect as little personal data as reasonably possible.
1. What We Collect
Contact Forms
When you submit a form (e.g. to request a consultation), the information you provide — including your name, email, and message — is sent to my email inbox. It’s used to respond to your inquiry. I don’t use this data for marketing, and I don’t share it with third parties.
Comments
If you leave a comment, WordPress may collect your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. Optionally, your name, email, and website may be stored for convenience when commenting again.
Cookies
This site may use minimal cookies — mostly related to WordPress functionality (e.g. comment cookies), and analytics (if enabled). You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Analytics
Basic traffic data (e.g. page visits, referrers) may be logged using anonymized analytics tools. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected or stored.
2. How Your Data Is Used
- To respond to your contact requests
- To improve the content and usability of the website
- To prevent spam and abuse
No personal data is sold, rented, or handed over to advertisers.
3. Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
4. What rights you have over your data
You can request a copy of any personal data I hold about you, or request that I delete it — just send a message using the contact form.
